Fate leads you home

From the beginning of the second part of Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!, it seemed that the ending was obvious. I did enjoy this movie though. It was very sweet and Zhenya and Nadya are very good counterparts. I think that both mothers are very supportive of their children and they just want their kids to be happy. Both Zhenya and Nadya obviously feel things for each other but Zhenya is more open about it and I think Nadya feels guilty that she is falling for someone other than Ippolit. I think that it is very telling of Ippolit's personality when he gets drunk and comes back to Nadya's apartment. I think that this is a wonderful movie and I can see why it is such a popular film.

  1. I agree when you say the ending was obvious. I would have enjoyed an "I didn't see that coming" moment in this movie. You made a lot of good points about their characters and how they portray themselves.

  2. I would also agree that the ending was a little obvious. The one point you made about Zhenya and Nadya's emotions was interesting. I agree that Zhenya is more open towards the end of film with his feelings. It was nice to see his character evolve from a somewhat awkward guy who was too shy to even drink with friends at first to someone who is not afraid to tell someone how they really feel and put their feelings out there.
